Beginning Monday, One Lane of 460 Will Close

Beginning on Monday, one lane of the U.S 460 Appomattox bypass will be closed…and delays are likely for about a week. According to VDOT, The right lane and shoulder of the bypass around the Town of Appomattox will be closed between the Virginia 24 bridge and the Virginia 26 bridge, while crews work to remove and replace a concrete slab on the westbound part of the highway. It is anticipated to reopen by Monday, July 28… however, that deadline is dependent upon weather and other conditions.
