Lynchburg police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck a man on his bicycle yesterday – then fled the scene. It happened about 4:45 in the 2200-block of Langhorne Road near the CVS. The bicyclist was seriously injured. Police say the vehicle involved may be damaged. They’re asking anyone who was in the area of the CVS Pharmacy on Langhorne Road and may have information to please contact Lynchburg Police.

Bicyclist Injured after Hit and Run on Langhorne Road
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating after a hit and run crash that injured a bicyclist this afternoon.
On November 28, 2021 at 4:46 p.m., officers responded to the 2200-block of Langhorne Road for a report of a hit and run involving a bicyclist. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man that had been struck by a vehicle. The victim was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect vehicle has possible damage and may be blue in color. Anyone who was in the area of the CVS Pharmacy on Langhorne road around 4:45 p.m. is asked to contact the LPD if they have any information on a suspect vehicle. The LPD also asks anyone who may have other information about this incident to call Officer Lucy at (434) 455-6047.
