Despite what it looks and feels like outdoors today…It is spring! Time to get our gardens and flower beds ready. The Lynchburg Community Market has an event coming up to celebrate the beginning of spring with seasonal displays of flowers, plants, seeds, bird houses and demonstrations. The Lynchburg Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists will be on hand, and representatives from the Robert E. Lee Soil and Water Conservation District will have a display about the uses of rain barrels in yards and gardens. The Birds and Blossom Festival will be held at the Market from 7am until 2pm this Saturday March 29. More details online at: www.lynchburgva.gov
