CASAThe man believed to have held a bogus fund-raiser has been arrested and charged with obtaining money by false pretense. CASA of Central Virginia say Jonathan Craft held a fundraising even with their name attached to it back in April, but they never saw a cent. Investigators say Craft lied about giving $1300 to various organizations, money he claimed to raise in honor of his 13-month-old daughter, Veralee Craft, who was killed at the hands of her mother’s boyfriend in 2012. According to Lynchburg Police, Craft was arrested Sunday but he has been released on $1000 bail.
