Bottle Truck Caused Rt. 29 Delays Wednesday Evening

One lane of Rt. 29 in Amherst County was closed for several hours Wednesday evening after a truck carrying empty beer bottles overturned. Authorities say the driver lost control of the truck and caused it to overturn around 4:30 p.m. State Police charged the driver with reckless driving and failure to maintain control of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
