Several upcoming bridge inspections in Nelson County could cause road and/or lane closures. Crews under contract to the Virginia Department of Transportation are scheduled- weather permitting… to perform safety inspections. VDOT inspects all its bridges at least once every two years to ensure that the structures remain safe for motorists. Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through any highway work zones.
