Budget Proposal To Be Unveiled To City Officials

Lynchburg officials will receive a budget proposal during a work session this evening. The City Managers will lay out recommendations for the new budget cycle that begins July 1. Today’s presentation kicks off a two-month string of work sessions and community meetings on the local spending plan. City council will revise the budget over a series of meetings between now and the end of April. Council is set to adopt a final budget in May.
