From the Amherst County Sheriff’s Offic: The office is investigating a report of property damage to a medical office building in Madison Heights. On Saturday November 29th patrol deputies found a glass door broken in the offices of Dr. Thomas Dobyns at 4573 South Amherst Highway. Investigation showed extensive damage to a phone / internet junction point inside the office. However, other than the damage done, there was nothing found missing from the offices. Anyone that has any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information regarding this crime. All information is totally confidential.
