A serial burglar pleaded guilty last week to 10 more felonies related to four burglaries committed in Campbell County. 34 year old, Kevin Scott Burchardt has been investigated for similar crimes in other areas including Amherst County; he has already been charged in several localities and received a 43 year sentence in Fluvanna County. Investigators say Burchardt started committing the rash of burglaries in Campbell County in October 2012. Defense has requested a sentencing date before April 20, the date in which Burchardt is scheduled to appear in court at yet another locality of his crime spree.
