The City of Lynchburg is asking for proposals for artist works that could become permanent fixtures along the Bluffwalk. In 2010, officials designated the James River Arts & Culture District to celebrate and promote the arts in Downtown Lynchburg. The grant supports the proposed public art space on the stairs at 11th Street leading from Jefferson Street to Commerce Street. The winning design will incorporate elements of culture and history; and bluffwalk and riverfront improvements. Submissions deadline is April 18… CLICK HERE for mor information.
