From Campbell County Schools: On Friday afternoon, January 30, 2015, School Administrators at the Campbell County Technical Center were notified that an unloaded firearm had been removed from an employee’s car parked on school grounds and brought into the school. The individual(s) involved returned the unloaded firearm to the car prior to dismissal at which time the firearm was confiscated by authorities. The employee involved has been placed on administrative leave and an ongoing investigation is currently being conducted by Campbell County Schools and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department.
