The future of Campbell County’s secondary schools is still unsure. The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday failed to reach a consensus. The presentation touched on the costs of the two main options either to create an east/west campus system in lieu of the current middle and high schools or renovate the existing schools. Supervisors also discussed three scenarios on how to construct the new schools if the consolidation option is chosen. The school board still has time to come up with another alternative before the January deadline.
