The Campbell County Board of Supervisors on May 6, approved sending out plans for a new Timbrook Library for bids to determine actual construction costs. The new building will be constructed at the corner of Leesville and Waterlick roads in the county’s Timbrook Park. Funding for the project will likely come from different sources… the county has already committed $700,000. Sources say the county had committed to providing that money in the past. The County Administrator told the Altavista Journal that results of the bids would be brought back to supervisors in July or August.
