Campbell County will research the historical and cultural background of several buildings. Five buildings along Route 24 in Rustburg have been used for storage by the county and the schools for over 25 years. Earlier this month, the Board of Supervisors authorized county staff to take a number of measures to determine how much money to invest in maintaining them. According to the Altavista Journal, the significance of the buildings could affect whether or not the county continues upkeep the structures in future.
