The idea to construct a library for Campbell County’s Timberlake and Sunburst districts has been in place for about 15 years– but was put on hold in 2007 when the economy started to decline. Now the project is moving forward with a fundraising campaign. The library foundation is focusing on securing larger corporate donations and grants, but also encourages community members to donate. Organizers hope to attain the donations by the time the revised construction plans go before the supervisors in February or March for approval; if not, at least by the time the project breaks ground in August. The library is expected to be completed by spring 2015 at Timbrook Park, located off Leesville Road near Waterlick Road.
