Lynchburg Daily Bread welcomes donations in the new year

Wreaths Across America Dec. 18th

Wreaths Across America ceremonies will take place this weekend to remember veterans buried at cemeteries across the nation.   Lynchburg’s Presbyterian Cemetery and Old City Cemetery are among 28-hundred cemeteries that place wreaths at the graves of American veterans of all wars. The Amherst Cemetery is participating as well.  The Wreaths Across America ceremonies begin at noon Saturday. 

Celebration of Lights returns to Riverside Park

Lynchburg’s annual Celebration of Lights returns to Riverside Park beginning Friday night.  It’s a drive-through light display, open nightly in December, from 5:00pm–9:00pm.
