Extended service for cellular customers in Lovingston is a step closure to fruition.Last month, the county Planning Commission approved recommending that the board of supervisors approve a proposed cell tower on property near Nelson County High School. This 130-foot AT&T tower is the first tower permit application under the new tower ordinance. Landscaping requirements apply. Distances for the tower need to be marked on the plan; and the new site plan still needs to be submitted to the planning director for approval before the Board of Supervisors meeting.
