AT&T seeks a much contested permit to put a 145-foot-tall tower on a large residential property on Langhorne Road but so far several neighbors have opposed the project; the planning commission last month voted against it and yesterday, the Lynchburg City Council tabled the application until the company provides more information for analysis. The News & Advance reports, AT&T was asked to look into several alternate scenarios raised by neighbors and individual council members. The company expects it will take a month or more to compile all the responses.
