Lynchburg municipal offices, including the Main Branch of the Lynchburg Public Library, will be closed January 1 in observance of New Year’s Day. The Regional Landfill on Concord Turnpike will be closed and January 1. Trash collection normally picked up on Wednesday will be collected on Friday.
