Council voted on a level tax rate; and to lower the real estate tax rate by 1-cent. No significant change to the budget proposal was made. According to the news & Advance the decisions will be built into the final budget…that document that will return to council next month for formal adoption, which is a two-vote process, and take effect on July 1.
