Lynchburg officials have been meeting with financial rating agencies; the city is expecting to get its new bond ratings later this month. The bond sale won’t be finalized until July, but the city has an interim plan to pay for any initial bills with other capital funds that will then be repaid through the bond proceeds. The final size of the bond sale won’t be known until the city goes to market next month.
