Construction on Railroad Bridge Closes One Lane of Campbell Ave.

One stretch of road in Lynchburg that won’t go back to normal is along Campbell Avenue. A lane closure is expected continue through February 21, from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily, as construction continues on the railroad bridge. Traffic will remain reduced to one lane during this time. Motorists should use caution when traveling through the work zone. Work was slated to begin on Tuesday, the day before the storm. The project could take longer due to the weather delay.
