The couple charged with concocting a plan to steal money from the Big Horn Market on Leesville Road in August—has had their day in court. 19 year old, La ‘Quan Dominic Morris, pleaded guilty yesterday to an amended charge of grand larceny and was sentenced to six months in jail. According to the Commonwealth’s Attorney, Morris and his girlfriend, Alicia Johnson, conspired to steal money from the store but made it look like Johnson, who was a clerk there, had been robbed. Johnson pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of embezzlement and one count of making a false report to police. She will be sentenced on May 7.
