A court date has been set for the man accused of driving drunk and killing his friend in a Bedford County crash last Summer. Steve Oulds III has been indicted by a grand jury on charges related to DUI manslaughter and will go to trial this fall. Earlier this year, 52 year old James Dale Gunter, of Lynchburg, was exhumed from a Lynchburg cemetery for an autopsy related to the case. Gunter died while riding in a car that ran off the side of U.S. 501 and overturned in a wooded area near Coleman Falls. Prosecutors say Oulds was the driver; he will stand trial in November.
