The year 2013 brought many challenges to Central Virginia Electric Cooperative; and a meeting has been planned to address the issues. CVEC had eight major events last year, one of the biggest being the March snowstorm that brought high winds and dropped 18 inches of snow. The Lovingston based company also saw lower margins than expected and a rise in both expenses and revenues… those topics and future plans will be discussed at the CVEC Board’s 77th annual meeting scheduled for June 25 in Nelson County High School at 7:30 p.m.
