Delays Expected On Rt. 501 South For the Next Few Weeks

Lynchburg officials have announced milling and paving work along Rt. 501 south for the next few weeks. Beginning tomorrow June 25 and continuing through Thursday July 10; daily, milling and paving operations will be conducted between Lakeside Drive and the Graves Mill Road exit. Traffic will be restricted to one lane between 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. with assistance from flag personnel and a pilot vehicle. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
