Discover LynchburgIn honor of National Tourism Week, the Lynchburg Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting a walking tour led by Tourism Director and architectural historian, Sergei Troubetzkoy, focusing on the diversity of downtown Lynchburg architecture. Some of the architectural styles people will see on the tour include Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, Gothic, Romanesque and Colonial Revivals, Beaux Arts Classicism, Art Deco and Art Moderne. The free walking tour will be held rain or shine on Friday May 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. It begins at the Lynchburg Visitors Center on Twelfth Street.  National Tourism Week is May 2 through 10.
