Elderly Mans Death Does Not Look To Be Suspicious

Authorities are nearing the completion of an investigation into the death of Nelson County man. 74 year old, Samuel Gaines was found dead in the driveway outside his home on the morning of Dec. 11—According to investigators it does not appear that there was any foul play that led to the cause of death” and “it does not appear to be a homicide.” The sheriff’s office is awaiting a final report from the medical examiner’s office.
