Elizabeth Haysom Denied Parole

The woman serving 45 years in prison for her part in the 1985 murders of her parents in Bedford County will remain behind bars. Elizabeth Haysom was convicted for being an accessory in the stabbing deaths of Derek and Nancy Haysom. She went before the parole board earlier this month and the board denied her parole. Jens Soering, her then boyfriend, is serving two life sentences for committing the murders. He will have a parole hearing next month.
