Last night’s power outage may end up being a practice run for many; with the expectation of more power outages across the region on Sunday–especially along and north of Rt. 460. The National Weather service predicts a wintry mix of snow and sleet to start early Sunday morning, before changing over to ice and freezing rain for most of Sunday into the early afternoon. Forecasters say freezing rain will likely weigh down lines, trees, and their branches. Travel may be tricky early Sunday in spots as well, mainly on bridges and overpasses.
