Family members of a 19-year-old found dead in his car in Pittsylvania County, last August, are expressing doubt that it was suicide. Charles Michael Abbott died from a single gun shot wound to the head following a party, where witnesses say Abbott got into a fight with a group of young men. A pistol was found inside the car with him and the Medical Examiner ruled the fatal injury as self-inflicted. Authorities say there was no foul play associated with Abbott’s death, but three men and a juvenile have been charged with assault in connection to the fight at the party.
