A home in Lynchburg was basically destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon. No one was in the house on Prince Street in the Winston Ridge area at the time of the blaze. According to the Battalion Chief, the house suffered “significant” damage that has rendered it unlivable. Firefighters are investigating the blaze and have not determined what caused the fire.
