The body of a Big Stone Gap officer killed in the line of duty was escorted from Roanoke back to Big Stone Gap today.  First Responders escorted Officer Michael Chandler back home from the Roanoke Medical Examiner’s Office to be with his family, friends, and loved ones in Big Stone Gap.  Chandler was killed Saturday morning by a man who’s now in custody. The escort was led by Chandler’s wife, Wise County Deputy Sheriff Natasha Smith Chandler.   Governor Northam has ordered flags to fly at half-staff across Virginia.
