From Virginia State Police: Trooper T.W. Fridley is investigating a fatal crash in Campbell County. The crash occurred at 5:25 a.m., Friday (April 15) on Route 460, less than a mile west of Route 662. A 2011 Kia was traveling east on Route 460 when it ran off the left side of the highway, struck an embankment and overturned. The driver, Ashley E. Inesta, 25, of Coleman Falls, Va., was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Inesta was wearing a seatbelt. The passenger, Bobby Ray Mosley Jr., 32, of Forest, Va., was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. He died at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
