The former manager of, the now nonoperational, Lynrocten Federal Credit Union in Lynchburg has been indicted on eight counts for her part in a fraud scheme. 62 year old, Linda Susan Newcomb, of Madison Heights, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by local and federal agents. She is charged with counts of embezzlement, bank fraud and aggravated identity theft; and faces a potential jail sentence of up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine, if convicted. Newcomb pleaded not guilty on Wednesday and released on bond.
