A former student teacher at a Lynchburg elementary school has been sentenced to seven years. 23 year old, Alexander Aldrich pleaded guilty in June on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor in Campbell County; he was sentenced to 20 years on each count yesterday, but the judge suspended all but the seven. Earlier in the year, he was sentenced on child pornography possession charges in Lynchburg– he was sentenced to serve eight years on those charges.
