GavelA Nelson County man has been sentenced to four months in prison for a string of crimes involving larceny and a burglary. 25 year old, Ethan Daniel Mays pleaded guilty on Friday to four felonies and two misdemeanors related to five incidents at one commercial and three residential locations from September to December 2013. Mays also pleaded guilty to one count of felony drug possession and one misdemeanor count of obstruction of justice, both stemming from an unrelated incident in January 2013. According to the Nelson County Times, the judge sentenced Mays to serve five years in prison for each felony and 30 days in jail for each misdemeanor, with all but the four months suspended.
