The man being held in the abduction and suspected murder of a missing Nelson County teenager won’t be doing any jailhouse interviews about his ties to her disappearance. Randy Allen Taylor appeared in court on Monday where he was served the murder indictment of Alexis Murphy, which the Commonwealth’s Attorney said was brought forth by a special grand jury that convened last week at his request. Media outlets report, while being escorted into court, Taylor told reporters that he would like to grant interviews at the Charlottesville jail, where he has been held since August. But the Nelson County Circuit included Taylor under a gag order. The original from December 11, applied to those involved with his eventual trial, which is slated to take place in May.
