The Town of South Boston is one of seven Virginia localities that will share more than $4 million in community improvement grants. The funding comes from the Community Development Block Grant program aimed at housing rehabilitation and downtown revitalization projects. Gov. Bob McDonnell says the projects focus on improving the lives of thousands of Virginians and utilizing all available resources to better communities throughout the state.
