Healthcare Insurance Application Assistance Being Offered Through BRMC

Beginning this year, individuals must have minimum health coverage or pay a fee on their tax return in April 2015. But working through the Health Insurance Marketplace application process alone is proving for many, to be a very complicated venture. Since October, the Blue Ridge Medical Center has assisted nearly 1,000 people. An outreach and enrollment specialist has assisted with their application in the Health Insurance Marketplace or answer questions about the Affordable Care Act–outlining options and explaining facts.
