Charges against a Bedford County man accused of felony hit-and-run in the March death of a bicyclist on Moneta Road will head to a grand jury. According to the News & Advance, 27 year old, Michael Wayne Jenkins, waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Bedford County on Monday. The hit-and-run charge was certified to the next term of the grand jury along with a felony charge of assault on a firefighter.
