The former co-owner of a Lynchburg hobby shop has been sentenced to three months in jail on charges of buying stolen goods to resell. Paula Lair was arrested in April and charged with three felony counts and one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. Lair, pleaded guilty to the four charges on Wednesday and the judge sentenced her to three months and allowed her to serve the time on weekends. The former site of the Collector’s Lair burned down last January; the new store has started more stringent practices to prevent against receiving stolen goods.
