Presbyterian Homes & Family Services and the Family Alliance says they have a new name – Humankind. According to a press release, the organization’s mission will remain the same focusing on the needs of children, adults, adults with intellectual disabilities and families in our area. The Board of Directors started working a name change two years realizing they needed something a little shorter but also reflects their mission. The change to HumanKind involved input from a lot of people, including staff, volunteers and donors.
