It has been 12 years since the Short Family murders in Henry County. On Sunday, hundreds paid tribute to them with an annual bike ride. Parents, Michael and Mary Short, and their 9-year old daughter Jennifer were shot to death in 2002. Riders drove in honor of the family, but specifically Jennifer Short. The proceeds of the ride go to a memorial scholarship fund in her name. There has not been an arrest; but participants say they still have hope for a conviction.
