An inspection on the Rivermont Avenue Bridge will take place today. The safety check was originally set for Friday, but was postponed due to unfavorable weather. Officials say some traffic delays should be expected. The northbound side of the bridge is reduced to one lane this morning. The southbound side will be reduced to one lane this afternoon. Motorists are urged to follow the temporary signage and be alert to changes in the traffic patterns. All lanes are expected to reopen by 6 p.m.
