Linda Jones, president of Lynch’s Landing:
While Lynch’s Landing has certainly enjoyed hosting and sponsoring First Fridays, we have decided to pass that responsibility over to the James River Arts Council. Their organization’s focus on public art and cultural experiences makes them the expert for promoting such an event in downtown Lynchburg.  We have appreciated the honor of coordinating First Fridays, but we are confident that the James River Arts Council is the ideal host for this event.

Kim Soerensen, president of James River Council for the Arts& Humanities:
We appreciate the opportunity and trust provided by Lynch’s Landing. Hosting First Fridays is a natural fit for us. Our mission is to promote and facilitate public artistic projects and cultural experiences. In partnership with Galleries, Art Venues and businesses of the Downtown Arts and Cultural District we hope to foster continued growth of the event by promoting and providing the opportunity for visitors to experience First Fridays.
