Join Scouting Night Planned For May 22

The Blue Ridge Mountains Council, Boy Scouts of America will be hosting a “Join Scouting Night” next week.         In all, the Council includes 21 counties and 7 cities in southwest and south central Virginia. The Piedmont region includes Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell and Nelson Counties. Organizers say there are a number of summer activities planned and now is the time to register.  The Join Scouting Night will be held at the Forest Recreation Center on Thursday, May 22 from 5:30 until 7pm.
