Local Cheerleaders In the “Big Easy”

A local group of 15 cheerleaders left over the weekend on their way to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The Brookville squad will be performing in front of 75,000 fans for the halftime show at the Sugar Bowl. The team high school and middle school students found out early this year they would get to go to New Orleans along with about 785 other cheerleaders from across the country. Kickoff for the Sugar Bowl is January 2nd at 8:30 p.m. between Alabama and Oklahoma.
