Local Executive Named as a Member of Governor’s Mental Health Task Force

The vice president of Centra Mental Health Services in Lynchburg is among 35 others executives across the state named by Gov. Bob McDonnell on Thursday as members to a governor’s task force on improving mental health services and crisis response. McDonnell announced the task force after state Sen. Creigh Deeds was stabbed and his son, Gus, who killed himself during a mental-health crisis at their Bath County home in December.
