BBB alert: Phishing email using BBB name

BBB-LogoA new phishing email is targeting local businesses and using the Better Business Bureau name to appear legitimate. The BBB says an email was sent out Friday morning to thousands of business claiming to be a BBB standard business questionnaire. The email has a ZIP file attachment that links to a site that can download malware on the user’s computer. The emails are coming from a domain “BBBL.org,” which is not a BBB domain name. Legitimate emails will always come from an email that ends in “@Roanoke.bbb.org.” If you receive this email do not click on the attachment.
